Deputies shut down Veterans Park in Lehigh Acres to gather evidence after disturbance, 1 in custody

LEHIGH ACRES, Fla. —

Lee County deputies responded to a disturbance at Veterans Park along Homestead Road in Lehigh Acres on Monday afternoon.

According to the Lee County Sheriff's Office, when deputies arrived on the scene, they brought the situation under control.

The sheriff's office said there were no injuries reported, one person is in custody, and the park is shut down as deputies gather evidence.
