Fire breaks out at car sales lot in Naples

A fire broke out at Lange’s Corner, a car sales lot in Naples, which affected three cars and the siding of a building.

The Greater Naples Fire District and Naples Fire Department received the call on Monday at 4:30 a.m. No one was present during the fire, and there were no injuries.

The GNFD captain told WINK News reporter Sommer Senne that crews were able to extinguish the blaze in less than 10 minutes, despite facing some challenges due to a fuel fire.

The fire did not reach the building itself, and crews remain on site to mop up and monitor for hot spots.

The cause of the fire remains unknown, as the cars were parked and not running at the time of the incident.

The owner of the business and investigators are on their way to the scene.

According to Google, the business is "permanently closed."
