Naples officials hold groundbreaking ceremony for hurricane damaged pier

Naples officials held a live groundbreaking ceremony for the Naples Pier, which was closed three years ago due to damages brought on by Hurricane Ian.

Congressman Byron Donalds and Naples mayor, Teresa Heitmann, was in attendance of the ceremony. 

WINK News was in attendance of the ceremony, where our reporters recorded the celebration of groundbreaking by Naples officials. They remarked how important the reconstruction of the Naples Pier will be for tourism and morale for locals.
