1 airlifted to hospital after crash involving dump truck along State Road 31 in Charlotte County

CHARLOTTE COUNTY, Fla. —

A crash involving a loaded dump truck and a pickup truck shut down State Road 31 south of Farabee Road in Charlotte County on Tuesday.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, one occupant was flown to a hospital, and the crash is under investigation.

FHP said the northbound lane has reopened following the crash.
