Have your say: public hearing on Seven Islands project in Cape Coral

CAPE CORAL, Fla. —

Before the vacant 48-acre lot of Seven Islands along Old Burnt Store Road becomes a full-blown waterfront destination, Cape Coral city leaders want to hear what you have to say about it.

A public hearing is scheduled for Wednesday, Jan. 7, at 4 p.m. during Cape Coral's city council meeting inside Council Chambers at 1015 Cultural Park Blvd.

Renderings of the Seven Islands project show apartments, condos, restaurants and even a 240-room resort hotel.

It also includes a harbor for boats.

There will be another public hearing on Wednesday, Jan. 21.
