Captiva's South Seas to feature in Sports Illustrated's May issue

CAPTIVA - Lee County is set to shine in a forthcoming Sports Illustrated feature that highlights female athletes. One of the four locations chosen for this spotlight is South Seas on Captiva.

This marks a return to the spotlight for South Seas, which previously hosted a cover shoot featuring Christie Brinkley back in 1981.

The feature is scheduled to hit the stands in May.

The Lee County Visitors Convention Bureau discussed the plans, noting that the county can use the footage for future advertising.
