Four arrested after Lee County deputies walk into drug deal mid-sale, 116g of meth seized

NORTH FORT MYERS, Fla.—The Lee County Sheriff’s Office arrested four people after wandering into a drug deal mid-sale in North Fort Myers.

Deputies arrested Robert Braitling, Tyler Brown, Joshua Clark, and Tiffani Glover on Wednesday after they were in the midst of a pursuit of a wanted person on Hart Drive. 

According to law enforcement, deputies approached an RV parked in a driveway with the door open and lights on to make contact with the occupants in hopes of locating the fleeing suspect.

However, upon entering the RV, deputies found the four people in the midst of a drug deal.

Body camera footage of the deal showed the individuals flinging baggies containing meth and marijuana near one of the suspects. 

After the transaction was interrupted by the deputy, law enforcement found the following inside the RV: 116 grams of meth, fentanyl residue, pills, syringes, and a glass pipe. 

The four people were arrested, and they face charges including trafficking meth, possession of controlled substances, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Deputies had not specified whether they located the wanted suspect or if the wanted suspect was among the four arrested.

The Lee County Sheriff's Office provided the body camera footage of the drug deal on their Facebook account.
