Keep Charlotte Beautiful Florida hosts 'Tire Take-Back' event for residents to remove unwanted tires

CHARLOTTE COUNTY, Fla. —

Keep Charlotte Beautiful Florida announced it is hosting a free "Tire Take-Back" event later this month.

The event is scheduled for Jan. 31 from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Charlotte County Administration parking lot. This is located along Murdock Circle in Port Charlotte.

The event is for Charlotte County residents only, so residents will need to bring proof of their residency to the event, such as a utility bill or driver's license.

There is a limit of 12 tires per household. Tires with rims will not be accepted. Only non-commercial car and truck tires will be allowed for disposal.
