Lee County Sheriff's Office investigates deadly shooting in Fort Myers Beach

FORT MYERS BEACH, Fla. —

The Lee County Sheriff's Office is investigating a fatal shooting in Madison Court in Fort Myers Beach.

The shooting happened approximately 1:30 a.m. Sunday.

LCSO said one person was pronounced dead.

The sheriff's office posted on X saying the Major Crimes Unit is on the scene and investigating, with pertinent details to follow.
