Bishop Verot Catholic High School goes on lockdown Tuesday morning after noncredible threat

FORT MYERS, Fla. —

Bishop Verot Catholic High School was placed under a lockdown Tuesday morning after what deputies are calling a noncredible threat.

According to the Lee County Sheriff's Office, the school received a noncredible threat Tuesday morning and, after guidance from the LCSO, entered into a lockdown, which requires all students to stay inside the building.

Deputies were spotted outside the school around 10 a.m. The LCSO confirmed that all students and staff are safe.
