Boynton Beach shooting over fraud dispute leaves 3 dead

BOYNTON BEACH, Fla. —

A dispute over a fraud case in Boynton Beach on Monday resulted in the deaths of two brothers and the suspect, who shot himself after a police pursuit.

Boynton Beach Police responded to a 911 call at All-American Farms Inc, where they found Charles Geragi and his brother Richard Geragi shot dead inside.

BBPD identified the suspect as 39-year-old Nesar Dawla, who fled the scene. After a brief pursuit, Dawla shot himself before crashing into a tree, police said.

BBPD said Dawla’s brother, Sadman Dawla, used to be an accountant for the Geragi brothers and is currently behind bars after being convicted of defrauding the brothers of over $5 million.

BBPD said Monday’s deadly encounter stemmed from a meeting between Dawla and the Geragi brothers, who wanted their money back. However, something went wrong, leading to Dawla pulling out a gun and shooting the brothers.
