Jada Langford-Fleming announces reelection bid for Lee County School board

Jada Langford-Fleming, School District of Lee County District 6 school board member, announced on Wednesday that she is running for reelection.

Langford-Fleming was elected to the school board in November 2022.

"I am running because the progress we have made is worth protecting, and because there is still important work ahead for our children and their education," Langford-Fleming said in a press release announcing her re-election campaign. "Policies must continue to be strengthened, spending must remain disciplined, and trust must keep growing between the district and the families it serves. We must stay vigilant in keeping politics out of the classroom and keeping the focus where it belongs, on student achievement, safety, and character."
