Woman accused of offering sex for payment after massage in Punta Gorda

PUNTA GORDA, Fla. —

A woman was arrested Thursday after she was accused of offering to engage in sexual activity in exchange for an additional payment while working as a massage therapist in Punta Gorda.

According to the Punta Gorda Police Department, Yan Fang, 42, was arrested after police conducted an undercover special operation following information they received regarding suspicious activity at a massage establishment, Lucky Spa at 525 East Olympia Avenue, Suite 9.

Police said an undercover officer requested a massage and during the massage, Fang is accused of offering sex for another payment.

During the investigation, it was revealed that Fang was accused of not having a valid massage therapy license, according to officers.

PGPD said Fang was arrested and is facing charges of solicitation of prostitution and practicing massage therapy without a license.
