Fire engulfs home on Bermont Road in Charlotte County

CHARLOTTE COUNTY, Fla. —

A fire broke out at a home in Paradise Park along Bermont Road in Charlotte County Friday morning.

Charlotte County Public Safety says Charlotte County Fire and EMS were dispatched around 9:10 a.m. Crews saw columns of smoke above the home as they arrived.

Crews on scene say they found an RV attached to a Florida Room, fully on fire. Crews worked together to get the fire out and prevent it from spreading to nearby homes.

CCPS said no injuries have been reported, and the cause of the fire is unknown.
