Juvenile suspect in custody after shots fired at Port Charlotte Waffle House

CHARLOTTE COUNTY, Fla. —

The Charlotte County Sheriff's Office said that a juvenile entered a Waffle House off King's Highway with a firearm and shot at employees Saturday night. No injuries were reported.

CCSO said after employees told him to leave, the suspect exited the restaurant and pulled out a firearm. They said he made threats to the employees and fired the gun to put them in fear.

CCSO said that the suspect is accounted for and that there are no threats to the public. They added that further details will be released as the investigation follows.
