1 arrested after car crashes into water in Cape Coral

CAPE CORAL, Fla. —

One person was arrested after a car drove off the Burnt Store Boat Ramp and crashed into the water in Cape Coral on Sunday.

According to the Cape Coral Police Department, crews responded to a submerged car on Sunday evening.

CCPD said DUI is not suspected, but the person who drove the car into the water had an active warrant and was arrested.
