Lee County deputies investigate several brush fires, person of interest in custody

LEE COUNTY, Fla. —

Lee County Sheriff's Office deputies are on the scene and investigating several brush fires set near Old Gladiolus Drive and South Tamiami Trail.

Deputies responded to the scene shortly after 1 p.m. on Friday, according to the LCSO.

LCSO said that a person of interest is in custody.

South Trail Fire and Rescue District confirmed that all the fires have been extinguished.
