Naples St. Patrick's Day parade to proceed as planned

NAPLES, Fla. - The 50th Annual Naples St. Patrick’s Day Parade will proceed as planned, thanks to an overwhelming response from the Naples community.

The parade was cancelled on Thursday due to budget concerns.

The Naples St. Patrick’s Foundation announced the parade's continuation on Friday after receiving significant support and donations.

“This community reminded us why this parade matters,” said Kim Heaslip, President of the Naples St. Patrick’s Foundation. “The support we received was heartfelt, immediate, and incredibly generous. We are truly overwhelmed with gratitude.”

The foundation looks forward to collaborating with the Naples City Council and the Naples Police Department to ensure future parades are successful and safe.
