Minnesota man 'parasails into his 90s' on Fort Myers Beach

FORT MYERS BEACH, Fla. —

To his family and friends, Sonny Lokken is known as a risk-taker.

"I have to be careful, and that's not easy for me," said Lokken.

On Thursday, his 90th birthday, is no different. Lokken traveled to Fort Myers Beach all the way from Goodman, Minnesota.

He did not plan this trip to sit in the sand. He did it to spend the day in the sky.

"At my age, if they're still alive sitting in a La-Z-Boy, rocking, what fun in that?" said Lokken. "Make the best of every day. Live it up."
