Naples Children Foundation benefits from fashion event with Stacey Bendet

Alice and Olivia in Waterside Shops hosted a fundraising night benefiting the Naples Children Foundation. The event marked the first visit to Naples for the company's founder, Stacey Bendet.

Bendet expressed her excitement about the visit and the event's energy.

"I feel like my whole career, I've tried to use fashion and use our stores and use my voice, and, you know, our brand as a way to just sort of promote and support great causes, and always think about how we can empower women and how we can help children," said Bendet. "So it's a special night."

The event combined designer fashion with a mission to give back, with 15% of the night's proceeds going to the Naples Children Foundation.

"They came from New York to give back to our community, and this first time Stacy's been here, so it's really special that they chose us to to give back to our community," said Ashley Gerry, festival chair of the Naples Winter Wine Festival.

The event also served as a launch for the Naples Winter Wine Festival's online auction.

Maria Jimenez, CEO of the Naples Children Foundation, highlighted the foundation's impact.

"The Naples Children Foundation, in conjunction with the Naples Winter Wine Festival, takes care of 35 to 40,000 children every day in our community, and without the support of our community, our donors, our supporters, our trustees, we would not be able to take care of so many children," said Jimenez.

Bendet expressed her intention to return to Naples, signaling her ongoing commitment to the community.
