Firefighters battle 50+ acre brush fire near Port LaBelle

HENDRY COUNTY, Fla. —

Crews are battling a brush fire outside of Port LaBelle in Hendry County Tuesday.

According to the Florida Forest Service, the fire is 50 acres and 70% contained at this time. The fire is off Helms Road, and they said no structures are in danger and no injuries have been reported.

The fire has been named Dover Terrace by the forest service.
