Fort Myers Seafood & Music Festival postponed, new date to be announced

FORT MYERS, Fla. —

The Fort Myers Seafood & Music Festival, which was originally scheduled to take place from Jan. 30 to Feb. 1, has been postponed, Paragon Festivals announced.

The event, which was scheduled to be held at Centennial Park in downtown Fort Myers, was postponed due to the weather forecast for the weekend.

With temperatures for the weekend forecast to be in the 40s, Paragon Festivals made the decision to reschedule the festival for later in the season.

"The safety and comfort of our guests, performers, vendors, and staff is always our top priority, and this decision was made with that in mind," Paragon Festivals said in a social media post. "We are currently working to secure future dates to reschedule the event and will share more information soon."

The Fort Myers Seafood & Music Festival features a variety of seafood vendors, arts and crafts vendors and live music. General admission to the event is free.

"Thank you for your understanding, and please stay tuned for updates," Paragon Festivals said.
