Pedestrian dead after crash on US-41 near Bayshore Drive in Collier County

COLLIER COUNTY, Fla. —

An adult pedestrian was killed in a crash on US-41 near Bayshore Drive in Collier County Wednesday night.

The Florida Highway Patrol confirmed it was a deadly crash involving a vehicle and pedestrian.

According to the Collier County Sheriff's Office, lanes are closed on US-41 at the intersection with Bayshore Dr. at this time.

The crash remains under investigation, FHP said.
