Bicyclist crashes into trailer in Fort Myers

FORT MYERS, Fla. —

A bicyclist was sent to the hospital after crashing into a trailer attached to a vehicle in Fort Myers Thursday night.

According to the Fort Myers Police Department, officers investigated a crash between a vehicle and a pedestrian on Palm Beach Boulevard at Polk Street.

FMPD said a bicyclist entered the roadway from the sidewalk and crashed into a trailer attached to a vehicle.

FMPD said the bicyclist sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
