Fort Myers police seek information in death of woman

FORT MYERS, Fla. —

The Fort Myers Police Department and Southwest Florida Crime Stoppers are seeking information from anyone who may have seen a woman in the days or hours leading up to her death.

Crime Stoppers said that Julia "Jules" Curvo, 28, was reported missing on Jan. 21, having last been seen near 1761 Fowler St. that day.

After days of searching, Curvo was found dead on Jan. 29, FMPD said. FMPD confirmed that Curvo is the subject of a Jan. 29 death investigation on Hough Street.

Crime Stoppers said detectives are now looking for any information from anyone who may have seen Curvo in the area in the time period prior to her being found, or who may have interacted with her in the same time frame.

Crime Stoppers urges that no information is too small to report.

All callers will remain anonymous, and a cash reward is being offered for any information regarding this case.
