DOH in Collier County issues water quality health advisory for Clam Pass Park

NAPLES, Fla. —

The Florida Department of Health in Collier County has issued a water quality advisory for Clam Beach Park.

DOH-Collier says tests completed Wednesday indicate that the water quality at North Gulf Shore Beach Access Clam Pass Beach does not meet the recreational water quality criteria for Enterococcus bacteria.

They are advising against any water-related activities at this location due to an increased risk for illness in swimmers. The advisory will continue, they say, until bacteria levels are below the accepted health level.
