US 41 billboard in Fort Myers asks for tips in death investigation

FORT MYERS - A new billboard has appeared above US-41, serving not as an advertisement but as a heartfelt plea for answers.

Julia Curvo, 28, was last seen alive on January 21 off Fowler Street. The Fort Myers Police Department reported that she was found dead on Hough Street nine days later.

Julia's father, Mark Curvo, expressed gratitude to CrimeStoppers for their efforts in seeking answers as persistently as his family.

"I would ask that anyone that has any information at all, just reach down, you know, deep, and have compassion for Julia and have compassion for her family," said Mark Curvo, Julia's father.

"We, the family, I think deserves clarity, and I think that if there's anyone that was involved in her death, then they need to be held accountable," said Curvo.

CrimeStoppers is collaborating with the Fort Myers Police Department to uncover what happened to Julia. Mark Curvo urges anyone who sees the billboard to think of their family and speak up if they have any information.
