A North Fort Myers man is accused of robbery with a firearm, according to the Lee County Sheriff's Office.
According to an arrest report, deputies were dispatched to the RaceTrac gas station on Pine Island Road in reference to a reported robbery. LCSO says they talked with the victim, who claimed that a man messaged them on Facebook asking if they wanted to "make a million."
The victim reportedly gave the man their account number and money started getting put into their account. The report says that the man told the victim to meet him at Suncoast Bank on Pine Island Road, where they would split the money.
When the victim and the man met, deputies say, they were threatened to give him all of the money. The man reportedly told the victim that he would pistol-whip them.
Deputies say that the man reached into the vehicle the victim was in, opened the door, and took the remaining money from the victim's hands. They add that the man drove off.
LCSO says that they located the suspect, Diamilliyon Lazaryse Malyki Barrett-Spratt, 20, who was positively identified by the victim. Once a search warrant was executed on Barrett-Spratt's home, deputies say they found a handgun and cash.
Barrett-Spratt was arrested and charged with robbery with a firearm.
