Atlanta Braves report to North Port; Spring training returns

NORTH PORT, Fla. -- A sign of the season today as the Atlanta Braves' pitchers and catchers reported to the team's Spring Training facility in North Port. The team's first full-squad workout set for February 15.

Fans can look forward to Atlanta's first Grapefruit League game on February 21 against the Rays in Port Charlotte. The Braves' Spring Training complex is situated in the Wellen Park area of North Port.

Fans will have access to the Braves' back fields beginning February 15 at 9 a.m. ET, entering through Gate 3 or the Green Gate. The Green Gate will serve as the only entry point during Grapefruit League games at CoolToday Park.

Several notable spring games are on the schedule, including matchups against the Twins on February 22 and the Pirates on February 25 and March 20. The Braves will also face Team Colombia in a World Baseball Classic exhibition on March 4.

The Braves are hosting Welcome Week at CoolToday Park to celebrate their return. Events include an Open House and Party on the Plaza on February 14, a Cosmic Beer Run on February 15, and the Braves Country Block Party on February 16. Open workouts, happy hours, and live music will be available from February 15 to 22, culminating in the home opener against the Twins on February 22, featuring a pregame ceremony and postgame concert.
