Lyft introduces ride-sharing service for teens

Lyft has launched a new ride-sharing option for teenagers called "Lyft Teen," providing a safe and affordable way for parents to transport their kids.

The company said only drivers who meet the highest standards, including background checks, safe driving records, and positive feedback history, will be allowed to transport teens.

Only verified Lyft accounts will be able to create teen profiles, and parents will be able to track their teen's location live.

The new service launched Monday in Atlanta, New York, and more than 200 other locations across the U.S.
