Mutts and Meows: Meet Sal

FORT MYERS, Fla. —

On Tuesday, the Gulf Coast Humane Society brought Sal into the studio. The gentle, loyal terrier is 2 years old and looking for a forever home.

He is 63 pounds. The Humane Society says he is calm and happiest with his owner. That makes Sal the perfect lap dog to chill on the couch with and watch a movie.

In the studio, Sal was joined by Joy Berry from the Humane Society. She says Sal is a mellow dog who simply cannot get enough love, but he is a little picky about who he gives his love to.

Anyone interested in adopting Sal or any other animal can visit the Gulf Coast Humane Society at 2010 Arcadia St. in Fort Myers.
