A man in Charlotte County was arrested after a search warrant was executed on his home, which found drugs, the Charlotte County Sheriff's Office said.
According to CCSO, their Narcotics Unit served a search warrant on suspect Thomas Clemens' home on Friday with the assistance of SWAT, traffic and community policing units.
During their search, deputies said, detectives located crack cocaine, drug paraphernalia, numerous scales and plastic baggies consistent with drug dealing. Clemens was placed under arrest. While being detained at the scene, deputies say they found crack cocaine in his front pocket.
Clemens was charged with possession of cocaine, possession of drug paraphernalia and resisting an officer without violence.
