The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission and the Lee County Sheriff’s Office responded to the single-vessel incident around 1:20 p.m. near South Matlacha Pass.
Officials said a Good Samaritan helped the two occupants out of the water and took them back to shore.
No injuries were reported after the incident.
