Midwest Food Bank Florida's annual 'Harvest of Hope' fundraising event aims to fight hunger

Midwest Food Bank Florida, founded in 2014, partners with over 220 nonprofit food pantries, churches, schools and shelters across 20 counties to alleviate hunger and provide disaster relief with dignity and compassion.

Harvest of Hope is the organization's signature annual fundraising event, bringing together business leaders, community partners and supporters to raise critical funding for food distribution programs and celebrate the impact made throughout the year.

The organization, founded in Illinois in 2003 by David and Linda Kieser, has grown into a national entity with 10 U.S. divisions and two international partnerships.

The community is invited to support Harvest of Hope through a live silent auction. It is at the Caloosa Sound Convention Center this Friday. You can get all the information here.
