'The Play That Goes Wrong' showing at Florida Repertory Theatre

Florida Repertory Theatre is showing "The Play That Goes Wrong," a celebrated stage farce, at the Historic Arcade Theatre in Fort Myers through March 1.

The Olivier Award-winning comedy is called a blend of Monty Python and Sherlock Holmes, focusing on a disastrous opening night of a 1920s murder mystery for an amateur drama society.

Curtain times are 7 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday and Saturdays, with 2 p.m. matinees on Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays.

There will be no performances on Saturday, Feb. 21, due to the Edison Festival of Light Parade.

Tickets for regular performances start at $69, and student tickets are priced at $15 with a valid student ID.
