Car crashes into lake in Immokalee

IMMOKALEE, Fla. —

A car crashed into a lake in Immokalee Thursday night.

According to the Collier County Sheriff's Office, deputies responded to the scene near Lincoln Boulevard and Franklin Court.

The CCSO said a single vehicle crashed into a lake at the scene, and no injuries were reported.

The CCSO's dive team assisted in the investigation, and deputies' presence on the scene continued throughout the night.

The cause of the crash is still under investigation, according to the CCSO.
