Road closures announced for the Edison Festival of Lights Saturday

FORT MYERS, Fla. —

As the Edison Festival of Light takes to the streets of Fort Myers on Saturday, road closures will be in effect for the majority of the afternoon and evening.

At around 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, the Caloosahatchee Bridge will close. At the same time, Cleveland Avenue will be closed until 11 p.m. This closure will extend to Llewellyn Drive.

Lee Memorial Hospital will still be accessible from U.S. 41 and Stella Street.

Detour routes will be available from 2:30 p.m. to approximately 11 p.m.

The parade is scheduled to start at 7 p.m.

Motorists are encouraged to follow all posted detour routes and allow for extra travel time.
