Lehigh Acres barn fire contained, crews continue to extinguish blaze

LEHIGH ACRES, Fla. - Fire crews are tackling a blaze at a barn in Lehigh Acres.

The fire, which involves a 100-by-30-foot barn, has been contained but efforts to fully extinguish it are still underway.

The barn and its contents are considered a total loss. A strike team and the Florida Forest Service are assisting, with the latter conducting water drops by helicopter.
