Brush fire breaks out near Alligator Alley in Collier County

COLLIER COUNTY, Fla. —

A brush fire broke out overnight Monday near Alligator Alley in Collier County, causing smoke and flames visible from I-75.

The fire is south of Immokalee, around the State Road 29 exit.

Drivers passing through the area are advised to proceed with caution.
