Naples Classical Academy confirms possible measles exposure, cancellations implemented

The Naples Classical Academy confirmed that a visitor with a confirmed case of measles was on campus on February 10.

The Florida Department of Health verified the case during a required reporting call.

The individual was an adult visitor who spent only a limited time on the campus.

The school promptly informed staff and parents about the exposure, sharing all information provided by the Florida Department of Health. In response, the school followed guidelines from both Collier County Public Schools and the Florida Department of Health.

Out of caution, the school has cancelled or rescheduled all public-facing events and activities for the recommended period.
