Anti-human trafficking 'Operation Cyber Tip Surge' announced

FORT MYERS, Fla.—Florida State Attorney Amira Fox announced “Operation Cyber Tip Surge”, a multi-jurisdictional collaborative effort to prevent human trafficking and sexual exploitation.

On Tuesday, Fox held a news conference to announce Cyber Tip Surge, thanking Operation Light Shine for its financial support in facilitating this effort in Southwest Florida

Several agencies that appeared to help Fox represent the preventive human trafficking task force included the Lee County Sheriff’s Office, Florida Homeland Security, the Florida Department of Law Enforcement, the Collier County Sheriff’s Office, Operation Light Shine, and the Cape Coral Police Department.
