Hendry County deputies search for owner of 2 cows captured near Powerline Road

HENDRY COUNTY, Fla. —

The Hendry County Sheriff's Office is searching for the owner of two cows captured on Tuesday.

According to HCSO, two black cows were seen running at large in the area of Powerline Road.

Both cows were captured and transported to the sheriff's office impound lot, HCSO said.

To claim ownership of the cows, call HCSO at 863-674-5600 and ask to speak with an Agriculture Deputy.

If no ownership is claimed after three days, the cows may become property of HCSO.
