Fort Myers woman accused of stealing gold dentures, fight tickets

FORT MYERS, Fla. —

A Fort Myers woman was arrested on Tuesday after being accused of stealing gold dentures and fight tickets from a car.

According to the Lee County Sheriff's Office, deputies responded to a scene at a Fort Myers boxing gym after reports of a burglary.

The victim reported that while training in the gym, he got into an argument with Katherine Nicole Rivera, 22.

Later in the day, when the victim returned to his car, he discovered that his gold dentures were missing, as well as 13 tickets for the Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship, LCSO said.

The victim spoke with Rivera, who confirmed that she stole the dentures and tickets, and would only return them if he returned her belongings, LCSO said.

Deputies then made contact with Rivera, who was cooperative and returned the gold dentures, as well as a gold ring that belonged to the victim, LCSO said.

Rivera was arrested and faces charges of burglary of an unoccupied conveyance and grand theft.
