2 arrested after more than $20K and drugs were found at Charlotte County home with children inside

CHARLOTTE COUNTY, Fla. —

SWAT and Charlotte County deputies swarmed a home along Pellam Boulevard on Tuesday morning to execute a search warrant in a narcotics investigation.

Inside the home, the Charlotte County Sheriff's Office said they found numerous drugs, including 3.48 pounds of cocaine, methamphetamine and ecstasy. Deputies also found numerous baggies, a vacuum sealing machine, a money counter and $20,685 in cash.

According to CCSO, two small children live at the residence. Deputies said numerous pieces of methamphetamine crystals and used methamphetamine glass pipes were on tables in plain view and easily accessible.

Ericka Diamond, 30, and Michael Nolan, 32, were both arrested.

Diamond is facing the following charges:

• Trafficking in methamphetamine
• Possession of methamphetamine with the intent to sell
• Possession of cocaine
• Possession of ecstasy
• Possession of drug paraphernalia
• Child neglect

As for Nolan, he is facing charges of possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia and child neglect.
