Collier County massage therapist accused of sexual crimes twice within a month

COLLIER COUNTY, Fla. —

A massage therapist is in custody for a second time in one month after another victim came forward with claims of sexual battery at a Collier County spa.

Raoul Atkinson, a 38-year-old man from Fort Myers, turned himself in at the Naples Jail Center on Sunday after a warrant was issued for his arrest on Feb. 25.

According to the Collier County Sheriff's Office, the victim reported that Atkinson did unwanted sexual acts on her during a massage on Nov. 29, 2025.

The victim said it happened at Praha Spa and Salt, located at 4962 Tamiami Trail North, according to the State Attorney's Office affidavit.

CCSO said that Atkinson was also implicated in an alleged sexual battery incident at the spa that happened on Nov. 6, 2025. The incident was reported to the sheriff's office on Jan. 29, a warrant was issued for Atkinson, and he was arrested on Feb. 2 before bonding out of jail.

According to the Florida Department of Health license verification website, the state issued an emergency license suspension order regarding Atkinson on Dec. 31, 2025. Atkinson agreed to voluntarily relinquish the license on Jan. 20, according to the State of Florida Board of Massage Therapy documents.

Atkinson is facing one count of sexual battery for the Nov. 29 incident and one count of battery for the Nov. 6 incident.
