Bishop Verot Catholic High School cancels classes Wednesday

FORT MYERS, Fla. —

Bishop Verot Catholic High School in Fort Myers has canceled all classes on Wednesday.

According to a Facebook post from the school, the campus suffered a power outage on Tuesday afternoon. Florida Power & Light is working on the outage, but could not guarantee power would be successfully restored by Wednesday morning, leading the school to cancel classes.

The school said it will update families once power has been restored and determine which extracurricular activities will be able to proceed as scheduled.
