Naples woman sentenced to 8 years in prison for gas station armed robbery

COLLIER COUNTY, Fla. —

A Naples woman has been sentenced to eight years in prison followed by seven years of probation after she pled no contest for her role in an armed robbery at a Shell gas station on Radio Road.

According to the Collier County Sheriff's Office, Martha Contino, 49, pleaded no contest to armed robbery with a firearm, and she was given 605 days for time served while she awaited trial. She is set to serve about six years and four months of her sentence.

Contino has been in custody since she was arrested on July 9, 2024, after she robbed a Shell gas station on Radio Road while wearing a Black ski mask and carrying a firearm. She took a box of cash before running from the scene.

Deputies said investigators tracked Contino to her apartment complex and arrested her the same day. They recovered evidence that included clothing matching the suspect’s outfit, a ski mask, a large amount of cash and narcotics.
