3,000-acre brush fire burns in Glades County

GLADES COUNTY, Fla. —

A 3,000-acre brush fire is burning in Glades County on Sunday morning.

According to the Glades County Sheriff's Office, the brush fire is in the area of Fisheating Creek on State Road 78 East.

The fire is being monitored, but drivers should expect heavy smoke in the area.

GCSO recommends that drivers use caution if traveling through the area.
