Death investigation underway at Whistlers Cove in Lely Resort

LELY RESORT, Fla. —

A death investigation is underway at Whistlers Cove Community after two people were found dead Saturday night.

According to the Collier County Sheriff's Office, deputies responded to a call for an injured person at around 9:44 p.m.

When deputies arrived on the scene, they found two people dead.

The deceased were identified as Raul Rojas-Catete, 28, and Juan Ruiz-Perez, 25.

CCSO said it is conducting an open and active investigation.
