Updated renderings reveal latest vision for bold new Cape Coral Yacht Club

CAPE CORAL, Fla. —

New 3D renderings of the much-anticipated Cape Coral Yacht Club makeover have been released.

The new two-story community center would be much larger than the old structure, with space for large events.

Images included features such as marina docks, a resort-style pool and a parking garage that's expected to be capable of holding hundreds of vehicles.

The Cape Coral City Council will go over the images during its council meeting on Wednesday. The rebuilt Yacht Club is expected to cost approximately $225 million.
